Come and indulge your senses at our four-time Award Winning Bed & Breakfast Inn; located along the bluffs of Muskegon Lake. Our Inn is 144  year old Queen Ann Victorian mansion, built by Alexander Rodgers, Sr. completed in 1877.


This 5,500 plus square foot home sits on the bluffs of Muskegon Lake, includes five-bedrooms with private baths. We are just minutes to Lake Michigan sugar sand beaches, the downtown business district, and the cross-lake high-speed Ferry.

Through the years we have been honored by ‘Inn Travelers’ awards for “Most Historical Charm”, “Best for Honeymoon and Anniversary”, “Best In The Midwest”, and “Book of Lists Award”.  The Inn is also accredited, “Michigan Green Lodging” for all travelers.

Fred-BarbaraWe are Barbara and Fred Schossau and after serving our guests for (twenty-eight years), we not only believe that God brought us here to this house, but His provisions also included the gift of hospitality. Barbara and I thoroughly enjoy entertaining our guests and serving a wonderful hearty breakfast every morning. Our motto is, “Hospitality the Old Fashioned Way”, and our goal is, “Within reason, we’ll do whatever it takes to make our guests happy.”

Puppies December 2013 Meet Victoria and Oscar, our two 8-year-old Yorkshire Terriers that love to greet our guests at the door  when given the chance to do so! It is our honor to have you visit us.
